The Ninebot Max has some impressive features and certainly looks the part. Here is a summary of everything you can expect when you buy this e-scooter.

Design

The design of the Ninebot Max is entirely à la Segway: stylish and timeless. The frame is made from aluminium/plastic and looks strong compared to its predecessors: the Segway Ninebot ES2 and ES1. Segway appears to have spent a lot of time designing and integrating even the smallest details.

In the middle of the handlebars, you’ll find the built-in full colour LED display. On this display, you can see the speed, battery level, possible error messages and your driving mode. In addition, the e-scooter has bluetooth connection in order to connect to the Segway app.

Finally, you can fold this e-scooter away in no time. The handlebars fold against the deck and click into place. When folded, the G30 has dimensions of 112 x 47 x 53 cm. When unfolded, it measures 112 x 47 x 120 cm.

Built-in Lights

The Ninebot Max G30 has a front light, rear light & reflectors. The LED front light is mounted just below the handlebars and the rear light is located on the mudguard over the rear wheel. Both lights look subtle, but have powerful beams that make you visible on the road, even in the dark. The reflectors are located on the sides of the front and rear wheel.

The tyres and braking system

The tyres of the Max version are 10″ tubeless pneumatic tyres. These require less maintenance and have a shock absorbing capacity for more comfort while driving.

The Ninebot Max G30 has a two-part braking system that you operate with the brake lever on the handlebars. The cables are neatly tucked away down the steering column. The brake lever is attached to the left handlebar.
