There are several rules attached to using an electric scooter in Warsaw. These are the most important rules to consider:
- From 10 years, you may use an electric scooter;
- Possession of a driving licence is not compulsory;
- There is no helmet requirement;
- You should use the cycle path. If this is missing, you will use the carriageway;
- You must not drive on roads where the speed limit is more than 30 km/h;
- It is forbidden to drive on the pavement;
- You cannot ride two people on one e-scooter;
- You may park an e-scooter only on a pavement at least 1.5 metres wide;
- It is forbidden to use a phone while driving.
